Before designing any garment, I imagine the person wearing it. What are they going through? What do they feel? How do they want to show up in the world? This is where my fashion collection begins.

Designing your own fabric can elevate any fashion collection. I used Adobe Capture to photograph a spring-themed still life and turn it into a pattern. This tool allowed me to create a unique textile that matched the emotion of the season.

The result was a delicate floral print that became the foundation for a body-hugging maxi dress with a high slit. That dress began as a feeling, not a sketch. And that’s what made it powerful.

Normally, I begin with mood boards filled with colors, fabric swatches, and fashion references. This time, I let emotion and fabric take the lead.

I still gathered notes and reviewed seasonal trends, but I didn’t rely on a perfectly structured plan. Instead, I trusted my intuition and allowed the fashion collection to unfold naturally.

The theme of this fashion collection is Living Proof. It was inspired by a deeply personal journey through depression and healing. I designed this collection as a reminder that you don’t have to look like what you’ve been through.

There was a time I didn’t want to get dressed. I stopped doing photoshoots. I stayed in pajamas. Eventually, I realized I missed fashion not just as a job but as a way of expressing myself. That was the spark behind this theme.
